Just after 2:00pm on Thursday, the #FDNY responded to reports of a fire in a private dwelling in Brooklyn. The fire quickly went to a 3rd alarm and was brought under control at 4:38pm. The FDNY’s Marine Division deploys a rapid response summer boat program starting in May and running through the end of October. The companies are spread out throughout the city in areas that aren't immediately covered by the full-time boats.
